VAD REQUIREMENTS
Here is where you will find the Virginia District UPCI licensing requirements. Requirements are divided into three categories; Local License, General License, and Ordination. Requirements for the appropriate level are to be completed prior to your District Board interview. Pay particular attention to the listed items you must bring to your District Board interview. You will be questioned on the material.
LOCAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Virginia District requirements are IN ADDITION to the requirements of the UPCI. The following list is to be completed prior to the District Board licensing interview.
1. Build your daily prayer time until you are praying at least one-hour per day. This is easily accomplished by adding just 5-minutes to prayer time every few days until you are praying one-hour. Pray for: your church, your family, your pastor, your ministry, your church leadership, the lost, and that God will put a love and passion within your heart for His Word.
2. Teach one home Bible study per week.
3. Read the following books of the Bible: I & II Timothy, Titus, Philemon, and Proverbs.
4. Study the following 5 doctrines (you will be asked questions on these subjects): Oneness ... Holiness ... New Birth ... Rapture ... Prayer
5. Watch all the videos under the resources tab of this website.
GENERAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Virginia District requirements are IN ADDITION to the requirements of the UPCI. The following list is to be completed prior to the District Board licensing interview.
1. Pray one-hour each day. Pray that God will give you a right spirit; pray that God will put an extraordinary love in your heart for His people.
2. Teach one home Bible study per week.
3. Read the following chapters and books of the Bible every week of your 90-day preparation period: I Corinthians 13 and the Book of James.
4. Write a 300-word essay on the Oneness of God. Bring it with you when you meet the District Board.
5. Watch all the videos under the resources tab of this website.
ORDINATION REQUIREMENTS
Virginia District requirements are IN ADDITION to the requirements of the UPCI. The following list is to be completed prior to the District Board licensing interview.
1. Pray one hour each day. Pray for LOST souls, for sensitivity to the Spirit, that God will use you in the Gifts of the Spirit, and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will be upon your life and ministry.
2. Teach one home Bible study per week.
3. Read and study Luke 15 daily for 90-days. Read and study in King James Version, the New King James Version, and in the Amplified Version. Questions will be asked.
4. Write a 300-word article on Ministerial Integrity. Bring the article with you to the district board.
